Consent, suppression and opt-outs

Per-channel consent: each contact has independent email and SMS consent flags, set at import or on the contact record.

Suppression list: adding a contact to the do-not-contact list stops all channels permanently until removed, and cancels pending messages.

Opt-outs: unsubscribe links (email) and STOP replies (SMS) are honoured automatically and recorded.

Your responsibilities: you must ensure your outreach complies with the laws that apply to your business and region (e.g. spam and telemarketing legislation). LeadMender provides the controls; the compliance obligation remains yours — see the acceptable-use policy.
